Refunds
Refund and cancellation policy

What the application fee is
Applying for a Strategy Call requires a ₹999 application fee. It is not a payment for consulting. It reserves your place in the application queue and it exists for one reason: my calendar is small and I run every call myself, so a slot given to someone who does not turn up is a slot a serious applicant could not have.
When the fee is refunded in full
- If your application is not accepted. Refunded in full. No call takes place and you owe nothing.
- If your application is accepted and the call takes place. Refunded in full after the call.
- If I cancel or reschedule and you cannot make the new time. Refunded in full.
- If you cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice. Refunded in full.
When the fee is not refunded
- You do not attend the call you booked.
- You cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice.
- You do not submit the application form within 48 hours of paying. If this happens and you still want to apply, email me — this is a queue-management rule, not a trap, and I would rather have your application.
How and when a refund reaches you
Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Razorpay, the payment processor. I initiate them within two working days of the triggering event. Razorpay and your bank then take their own time — typically five to seven working days for a card, often faster for UPI. I do not control that part and cannot speed it up.
You do not need to request a refund you are entitled to under the terms above. If one has not appeared within ten working days, email hello@murshidansari.com with your reference number and I will chase it.
Cancelling before you pay
Nothing is charged until you complete the payment step, and giving your name, email and phone number on the first screen costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
Disputes
If you believe a refund has been wrongly withheld, email hello@murshidansari.com and say so plainly. I would rather return ₹999 than argue about it.
